Out for Lunch Series is an informal conversation series that allows students to meet LGBTQIA+ faculty, staff and administrators in a casual space over lunch.

The purpose of the lunch series is to provide an opportunity for students to hear from faculty, staff, and administrators in the LGBTQ+ community about their life experiences, careers, successes and challenges in an intimate setting. All are welcome to attend the Out for Lunch series no matter what identities they may hold. For this lunch, we will be talking with Robby Fahrenholtz, the Coordinator for the Multicultural Center.

Robby Fahrenholtz (They/Them) is in their first year working at Adelphi in the new Multicultural Center. They hold degrees in Higher Education Administration and Molecular biology and those combined knowledge bases along with their own personal experience to serve the campus’s LGBTQ+ and First Generation Students. their Special interests include sexual health education, LGBTQ+ history, musical theater, and crafting.

In this Out For Lunch event, Robby will be taking about their experiences coming to understand their Nonbinary identity and leading a discussion on how gender roles and expression effect our understating’s of ourselves an others.
