ADHD Myths and Realities: Why can’t they just sit still and listen?
Students with ADHD have a unique way of thinking. This leads them to appear different in their behaviors and responses during instruction. Through understanding the differences in cognition and how that affects their academic and social skills, we can provide a more appropriate musical learning environment for them. This then leads to a more productive and engaged musical space for everyone.
