Do your presentations, videos, and other multimedia content assist or hinder learning and retention? Drawing from over 200 experiments and further research related to the effects of multimedia on learning and retention, Richard Mayer shares his most current findings in Multimedia Learning (2021, 3rd ed.). This workshop presents an overview of “Mayer’s 15 Principles” which are easily relatable for enhancing the effectiveness of multimedia content. FCPE Book Talks aim to inspire the reading of notable books by creating awareness of a book’s value to teaching and learning. You do not need to read this book prior to the workshop.
