Date & Time: October 18, 2021 8:30am – 9:00am
Location: Swirbul Lawn (rain location is UC 212)

It seems that everywhere you go, people are talking about and practicing Mindfulness Meditation. There’s good reason. It teaches us to slow down and focus on what is right in front of us. Doing this actually improves our minds, our bodies, our relationships, our focus in class and at work, our capacity for empathy, and much more!

The AOD Peer Education Team is proud to bring you five days of Mindfulness Meditation during Alcohol Awareness Week. This free, outdoor, event is designed to help you start your day on your terms. You need not have any experience at all. Our facilitators will guide you through a meditation and will lead a brief discussion sharing tips to help improve you sleep, relationships, time management, self-care, and bodies.

ANYONE can attend! This event is open to students, faculty, staff, and administrators. Join us on the Swirbul Library lawn (UC 212 rain location) each morning at 8:30 a.m.

Special Thanks to Center for Recreation and Sport for lending us the yoga mats.
