Melancholy Play is the charming story of a young woman named Tilly whose sorrow is so appealing that no one can resist falling in love with her. In this contemporary farce by playwright Sarah Ruhl, emotions are worn on sleeves and big feelings are felt. A simultaneously irreverent and sincere examination of melancholy, love, and the space for grand emotions in our world today; this quirky and delightful comedy about sadness will leave you smiling!
This evening performance will feature a post-show artist talkback with the cast.
