Managing Stress as a Student and Parent/Caregiver
Event Actions
It may be stressful enough being a student. When you’re also caring for someone, life can get distressing. This six-week series is designed for students who are also caregivers who want to learn skills that will help them manage their stress. Facilitated by Niasia Harding, social work trainee, and Jessica Miller, LCSW, each session will focus on a different skill. This series is free and open to any Adelphi student who is also caring for someone: child, parent, sibling, friend, community members, etc.
Space for this series is limited so register early by contacting the Student Counseling Center at 516-877-3646 or email scc@adelphi.edu and let us know you want to be a part of the Virtual Stress Management Workshop Series for Parents and Caregivers.
