The Graduate Assistant will be exposed to the daily operations of the Center for Student and Community Engagement. However, specific learning objectives such as time management, delegation, policies and procedures, assessment and organization will also be incorporated into the overall assistantship. They will gain hands-on experience in the management of a multifaceted, high-traffic, face-paced office even in a virtual format. They will have an opportunity to work with large groups of diverse students and assist in programming for student life at Adelphi.
