The LGBTQ+ First Year Empowerment Group is a program for students in their first year at Adelphi, whether they are first-time college students or transferring from another school.
Over the first 6 weeks of the fall semester, this group will meet to talk about resources, build community, and inspire confidence for LGBTQ+ identifying students.
It is not required that you attend all 6 sessions, so feel free to try it out the first week with no pressure to come back if its not for you, or join in in week 3 when you schedule opens up.
