Participate in an interactive session to learn to navigate tough conversations more comfortably during this Freedom of Expression Week event.

Join Margaret Cassidy, professor of communications, to explore strategies for engaging in productive dialogue on controversial issues. Professor Cassidy will share key communication techniques for building confidence in discussing sensitive topics and communicating openly while respecting diverse viewpoints on campus and beyond.

This event is part of Adelphi University’s Freedom of Expression Week Symposium, hosted by the Student Government Association (SGA), and the Division of Student Affairs, in collaboration with The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) and Voices for Liberty.
