Speakers

Lawrence Kane was inducted into the SIG Sourcing Supernova Hall of Fame in 2018 for visionary leadership in strategic sourcing and supplier innovation. With 35 years of industry experience, he designed enterprise-wide technology sourcing strategies, built global sourcing and vendor management programs from the ground up, and institutionalized world-class practices that earned the prestigious Global Excellence in Outsourcing award from IAOP, among other honors. He received a BA in Finance and Human Resources at University of Washington.

Marcell Vollmer is Chief Executive Officer at Prospitalia Group. Prior to that, he was Partner & Director at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) with over 20 years of experience developing and implementing procurement and digital transformation strategies across industries globally. Marcell brings more than 15 years of successful digital transformation and procurement optimization experience gained at SAP in various roles as Chief Digital Officer, Chief Operating Officer as well as Chief Procurement Officer at SAP. Marcell earned his PhD in Economics from the University of Hamburg in Germany.

Marlene Johnson is a Senior Sourcing Manager for IT Professional Services at Assurant, Inc., a Fortune 500 business services company that supports, protects and connects major consumer purchases. She has a Master’s of Science in Administration degree from Central Michigan University, a Bachelor of Science in Business degree from Wright State University, and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. She has held various roles in procurement and sourcing for more than 25 years in both corporate and public sector organizations serving in sourcing, buying and supplier diversity capacities.
