Come join us for a conversation with Cesar Z. Ruiz Esq., civil rights attorney who works primarily in the area of voting rights and redistricting. He was born and raised in New York, to parents who migrated from Puerto Rico. Cesar got his B.A in Sociology from John Jay College in 2017. He is a first-generation Juris Doctor who graduated from CUNY School of Law in 2021 and was admitted to practice law in the state of New York in 2022.
Cesar will share his personal, academic and career trajectory to becoming an attorney fighting for social justice causes in New York State and beyond.
