Join Adelphi Gives Back, the First-Year Community Action Program (FCAP), Long Island Sierra Club, and ReWild Long Island to restore local ecosystems. 

Join us on November 4th at Tanglewood Preserve to remove invasive plants such as the porcelian berry, oriental bitterswet, multiflora rose, and invasive honeysuckles. ReWild will also be maintaining a native plant garden in the preserve. Participants are also welcome to bring their own lunch and join both organizations for an outdoor lunch.

Later at 12:00pm, the Sierra Club will also be hosting an optional tour of a local water treatment facility. Get more information on the tour.

Please wear outdoor clothing, ready for working in a garden. Jeans are recommended.
