IMPROVISATION ENSEMBLE
Heather Waters, director

Improvisation Ensemble presents a showcase of creative improvised music. Selections include an eclectic mix of styles ranging from structured forms such as the blues to freeform soundscapes incorporating visual art and movement. Come join in this interactive musical experience!

WORLD MUSIC ENSEMBLE
Margaret E. Collins, director

The World Music Ensemble will present folk songs from South African, Native American, Irish traditional, and Korean traditions, as well as perform a percussion demonstration with audience participation. The students will speak about each segment of the program before the performance.

IMPORTANT COVID PROTOCOLS:
Our priority is to ensure the safety of our patrons, artists, staff and the entire Adelphi community against COVID-19. We know that there is a great desire to come together and share the experience of live performance. The science of masks, vaccines, and tests will help make this happen.

Effective immediately, all audience members age 12 and over will be required to show proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Anyone under 12 or who is not fully vaccinated must show proof of a negative test taken within 72 hours of the performance. All guests regardless of age or vaccination status will be required to wear masks at all times while inside the Adelphi PAC.

In addition, capacity will be limited to 50% for many of our events.

These policies will remain in place at least through December 31, 2021 and are subject to change at any time. Feel free to contact the box office with any questions.
