As a champion of health equity and an associate professor of emergency medicine, Dr. Cioè-Peña spearheads global initiatives focusing on mental health access, surgical equity, and climate change mitigation. He has led telemedicine support in Ukraine, supply donations to Turkey and Syria, and training programs in Guyana, among other impactful projects.
