Date & Time: September 24, 2021 12:00pm – 1:00pm
Location: Nassau Legislature Building

On Friday, September 24 Fridays for Future is hosting a global climate strike to #UprootTheSystem and demand intersectional climate justice. A statement on the FFF website reads “The climate crisis does not exist in a vacuum. Other socio-economic crises such as racism, sexism, ableism, class inequality, and more amplify the climate crisis and vice versa. It is not just a single issue, our different struggles and liberations are connected and tied to each other”.  More information on the September 24th strike is here: https://fridaysforfuture.org/september24/

Please join the Environmental Action Coalition and join the strike to take a stand against global climate injustice. We will be joining a local strike in front of the Nassau County Legislative Building. If anyone is interested in carpooling (as a driver or rider) please email us (environmentalactioncoalition@adelphi.edu). We will also be creating posters at our September 22nd meeting, all are welcome to join us! Be sure sure to bring your mask, and we hope to see you there!
