The students of the Department of Dance present a program of classical ballet and contemporary dance.

Fall Dance Adelphi will feature the work of guest artist Catherine Turocy. One of the world’s leading choreographer/reconstructors and stage directors of 17th and 18th century period performance, Catherine Turocy is the director of the New York Baroque Dance Company. She has staged 70 Baroque opera-ballets and collaborated with some of the world’s top Opera companies and conductors. Also on the bill will be a classical restaging by Professor Frank Augustyn. Professor Adelheid B Strelick uses current events to guide her collaborative process with her dancers. Adjunct professor Sloan Pearson is developing a work with her theatrically unique blend of classic modern and contemporary styles, and Professor Orion Duckstein is using love songs to investigate the challenges of our relationships.
