This workshop will demonstrate how to determine if an Open Educational Resource is right for your course, what it means for your teaching and students to assign an OER instead of a commercial work, and how to integrate that OER into your current course in Moodle and the classroom.
Facilitated by the Libraries and FCPE
Digital Publishing Librarian, Chris Barnes, and FCPE’s Interactive Learning Designer, Erik Fox-Jackson, will cover three examples from different disciplines using assorted kinds of OER, from open textbooks to open exercises created using H5P, and field questions about implementing OER in specific courses.
