Teaching online, in a synchronous or asynchronous course, can leave students, as well as their instructor, feeling isolated from the community a course typically provides.
Technology need not be the great separator. This workshop, grounded in the Community of Inquiry model, will identify core forms of community building in courses and connect them to implementable strategies and technologies.
