Date & Time: December 13 8:00am – 1:45pm
Location: Garden City Campus

Adelphi University welcomes students between 9th and 12th grade to participate in our Fall 2022 College Awareness Day!

This year’s Semi-Annual College Awareness Day is being held in a conference style and will premiere our college readiness workshops. The program is designed for high school students that are interested in preparing for the rigors of college life. Students will participate in workshops and discussions with our Adelphi University staff to enhance their skills and focus on preparing them for the transition from high school students to successful adult college students. They’ll learn from our experts about admissions requirements, the application process, academic programs, the benefits of a college education and more.

Our goal is for students to leave the event feeling excited and educated about the college experience by providing them with the tools needed. Students must be between 9th grade and 12th grade.

The event will be held at our Garden City campus from 8:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

All faculty, chaperones and students must have the Adelphi University Camera Release Form signed by a parent or legal guardian. Students who do not have a signed photo release form will not be permitted to participate in the event. Please be sure to share this information with your students and their parents. We request you scan your signed forms and send them to us at infoevents@adelphi.edu prior to the event in order to expedite the check-in process. You may also collect the forms and bring them with you on the day of the event.

Health and Safety: Masks are currently optional based on your comfort level but the policy is subject to change. Faculty may require students to wear masks in their classes, studios or laboratories. Please remind your students and chaperones to bring a mask just in case you are required to wear one during their workshops. We ask that you and your students self-screen for symptoms and/or exposure prior to arrival, and those with risk factors should refrain from coming to campus. Should any changes occur, we will keep you updated via email and/or phone. Please share this information with your students, their parents and/or legal guardian and the teachers and/or chaperones that will be accompanying your students during their visit to campus.
