Circles of Support Speaker Sarah Watts: The Impact of Generational Incarceration on Women and Families

Participants can learn about how women’s lives and families have historically been impacted by our criminal justice system. They will learn about efforts being made by the speaker and others to improve our justice system.

Sarah Batista Watts, a member of Circles of Support, offering justice-impacted individuals a community dedicated to affirming their true identities, will visit Adelphi via zoom. Ms. Watts will speak about generational incarceration and its impact on women and families. At a time when criminal justice reform is a bipartisan concern, Ms. Watts will explain her work to raise awareness and help improve life for justice-impacted individuals.Â
