Date & Time: May 12, 2021 8:00pm – 9:30pm
Location: Virtual

We invite you to join us for a celebration of the life of Max Weinstein BFA ’02, an alumnus of Adelphi University’s Department of Theatre, and a truly extraordinary person.

Max passed away suddenly last July, and because of the pandemic, family and friends did not have the opportunity to acknowledge Max and to celebrate his life.

To honor the extraordinary person that Max was and the positive effect he had on his friends, we have invited Erin Mallon BFA ’02 and Megan Lohne BFA ’04, two professional playwrights and each classmates of Max to write a short play using Max’s Unique personality as a springboard for their idea. Alumni and current students worked together to direct, act, and film the readings of these plays for your viewing pleasure and will be screened via YouTube.

Following the performances, attendees are invited to join us via Zoom for a celebration to share stories, wishes, and memories of Max. Guests will receive the Zoom link upon registrations, and the YouTube link the day prior to the event.

Tickets to this event are free and we welcome donations as we continue to raise funds for the Max Weinstein Theatre Scholarship Fund. Scholarship funds will go to current outstanding upper class Adelphi Theatre majors who are in financial need.
