Date & Time: April 9 9:00am – 12:15pm
Location: Ruth S. Harley University Center

We are excited to invite you and your children to our upcoming Bring Your Child to Work Day!

This special event offers a fun and educational experience designed to spark curiosity, encourage learning, and foster creativity. Your children will have the opportunity to participate in age-appropriate, engaging activities and interactive demonstrations.

Parents choose one of two tracks, based on their child’s interests:

  • Science and Technology Track

    • Robotics Builder: Create, Code, Conquer! Build and code LEGO robots that complete fun driving tasks to learn the basics of engineering and creative design.
    • Physics FunLab: Experiment, Discover, Explore! Try exciting experiments in sound, light, and motion—like how an upside-down roller coaster works or how to send sound with lasers.
  • Creative Arts Track

    • Art Adventure Workshop: Younger children (ages 8-11 years) will create an air-dry clay animal sculpture. Older children (ages 12-15 years) will complete a color pastel drawing.
    • Origami – The Art of Folded Paper: Learn about the history of this ancient art and practice turning a flat square of paper into amazing three dimensional objects.

In addition to the workshops in your child’s chosen track, all children join together at a Move & Groove Studio where we meet members of Adelphi’s Dance Team, experience live dance and music, and learn some choreography.

With something for everyone, this promises to be an unforgettable experience for the special children in your life (ages 8-15). We can’t wait to see you and your children on this exciting day!
