Food insecurity is a complex concept that refers to the inability to obtain sufficient food in a safe way. For many college students today, food insecurity is just a few missed paychecks away. Students struggling to avoid hunger can utilize several resources to put food on the table while still completing their education.

Professor Rachel Taniey, Director of the MS in Nutrition Program, and graduate nutrition students, Maria Pellarin and Rachel Morrison, will discuss food insecurity among college students, provide insightful information about the Panther Pantry on campus, and demonstrate a simple cooking tutorial using affordable and nutritious foods.

Join in via zoom at 6pm on March 29th. We are looking forward to seeing you there!”
