Ensemble in Residence Axiom Brass returns to perform for the audiences of Adelphi University for the seventh time, with a program spanning the ages, from the Baroque era to the modern day.
Included on this program is Barbara Strozzi’s Suite from Il Primo Libro de Madrigali, Evan Williams’ Lux Aeterna, Lillian Yee’s The First Six, and Alvin Etler’s Quintet for Brass Instruments. Composer Evan Williams will be on hand discussing his work with the ensemble. Axiom Brass will be presenting this concert virtually from their homebase of Chicago.
