This workshop is for Adelphi University Faculty. Facilitated by Rodrick Shao, Instructional Designer.

Andragogy, as associated with Malcolm Knowles, surrounds assumptions and principles about how and why adult students learn. This workshop will focus on best practices for teaching adults according to this adult learning theory. We will also specifically discuss the ‘problem-centered approach,’ and the roles that extrinsic and intrinsic motivation play for adult learners.
