To celebrate Earth Month (April) and reduce your carbon footprint and help to create a healthier Long Island by participating in Adelphi’s Earth Month 2021 Challenge, sponsored by 511NY Rideshare.

Can you be the one to track the most car free miles?

From April 1st to April 22nd (Earth Day), members of the Adelphi community can compete to see who can track the most car-free miles. To join the challenge, you simply need to create a free account with 511NY Rideshare. You can, then, track any miles you walk/hike/bike/run between 4/1 and 4/22, for a chance to win prizes. 

Step 1: Go out for bike rides, walks, runs, or hikes!

Step 2: Create or log into your 511NY Rideshare account by using the link below

Step 3: Log each excursion’s miles in the Earth Month Challenge form

Share your Earth Month Challenge photos & videos on social media using #AdelphiGoesGreen2021 and tagging @511NYRideshare to be entered for prizes!
