Develop understanding of developmentally appropriate curriculum in early childhood. The course will explore principles of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP); alignment of DAP with child development; engaging with families to support learning; observation for purposes of assessment; role of play in learning; planning and implementing curriculum to achieve appropriate goals.
