This course is designed to teach the student the basic and advanced concepts in psychometric theory. Emphasis will be placed on the understanding of the application of psychometric theory to measurement problems in applied settings.

The primary learning objectives of the course are: 1. To provide a detailed review of how tests are constructed 2. To have students understand the importance of the psychometric properties of a test when selecting a test to administer 3. To give students the skills to understand and implement RTI
