Provides seminar and practical experience in the observation, participation in, and critical analysis of various roles and functions of Health care Information Technology professionals. Students will complete a minimum of 150 hours in practicum work during site visits. Upon completion of this course, the student is able to: 1. Integrate aspects of the advanced practice role of a HIT professional within an organization. 2. Compare how various health care information technology systems are organized and integrated. 3.
