Institute for Parenting
Mission Statement
The Institute for Parenting was established to help ensure the health and well-being of
young children and developing families by supporting and enhancing parental capacity to
provide nurturing, healthy, and developmentally appropriate environments. The Institute for Parenting is focused on parenting education and
provides parents, educators, service providers, and students with training,
service, and research within a culturally sensitive framework.
