Technology Loans
The libraries can lend limited amounts of hardware such as laptops to students, faculty, and staff. Students can also borrow peripheral devices and connections to charge their personal technology as well as connect to existing technology stations.
Technology is lent to patrons in the same manner as traditional material with adjusted due dates. Please consult User Services for technology loans that directly relate to the Collaboration Studios. Equipment is lent on a first-come, first-served basis.
During times of high use, additional hardware and peripheral devices are available at the IT Help Desk located on the 2nd floor of Swirbul Library.
Available Technology
In most instances, loanable technology must be returned within one day. Please make note of your return times when borrowing technology. The following items are available from User Services at the Service Point in Swirbul Library:
- Laptops
- Adapters for the Collaboration Studios
- Noise-canceling headphones
- Scientific graphing calculators
- Chargers for personal devices such as laptops and smartphones
