What will I learn from the Technology Competency Certificate Program?

This course contains six modules of tutorials. Some of the tutorials have practice sheets you can download and actually work on the topics while watching the videos. Once all modules are competed, contact the Help Desk to receive your Certificate of Completion.

The six modules include:

  • Learning Study Skills
  • Internet Safety for Students
  • Google Apps for Students
  • Word 2016 Essential Training
  • Excel 2016 Essential Training
  • Powerpoint 2016 Essential Training

Please go through each module and watch it in its entirety. Some of the videos contain exercise files. It is highly recommended that these files are examined, even if the subject matter is understood. Some courses have a “What did you know/learn” quiz as well as exercise files. The videos flow from one into the next within the courses. You may stop at any time and return to where you left off if you need to take a break. Watch this video for a preview of the Student Technology Competency Certificate Program and what you can expect from each of the modules.
