Over the week, participants will learn advanced techniques in perspective, anatomy, and lighting, and receive one-on-one portfolio feedback from Professor Brooks and a team of experienced student artists at Adelphi. Students will also be guided through an overview of potential career paths in the visual arts.

Meet Your Professor
Prof. Brooks Frederick (he/him) is a classically trained, internationally exhibited artist, advocate, and educator. Brooks is passionate about creating supportive environments where fellow artists can learn, grow, and communicate with the world around us. He has been nominated for outstanding faculty member and mentor multiple years at Adelphi. In addition to his freelance and gallery exhibitions, he has led workshops in New Orleans, Maine, Manhattan, and the South of France.
