The 2026 Summer Leadership Institute will explore leadership through the lens of artificial intelligence (AI) and its growing influence across academic, professional, and social environments.
The Adelphi University Summer Leadership Institute (SLI) is a six-week, virtual, co-curricular leadership development program designed for undergraduate and graduate students.
You must pre-register to receive the Zoom links. If you want to participate in the entirety of the program, Please register to be added to the Moodle class page. Each workshop will be recorded and available for one week after the live event.
Students who complete the 2026 Summer Leadership Institute will be able to:
- Explain how artificial intelligence is shaping leadership and professional environments
- Apply AI tools to enhance productivity, communication, and problem-solving
- Evaluate ethical implications of AI, including bias, privacy, and accountability
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal leadership skills such as empathy and communication
- Adapt to emerging technologies in a rapidly changing workforce
- Articulate a personal leadership identity in the context of AI
