Review absolute value, polynomials, linear and quadratic equations, and inequalities. Learn to graph lines and inequalities. Learn how to graph polynomial and rational functions, and exponential and logarithmic functions, understand their properties, and find their roots, extrema, asymptotes, and discover their applications.

Learning Goals:

Quantitative Reasoning

Students will review absolute value, polynomials, linear and quadratic equations, and inequalities. Students will learn to graph lines and inequalities. Students will learn to graph polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions, understand their properties, and find their roots, extrema, asymptotes, and discover their applications. Students will then be able to apply their knowledge of pre-calculus to their areas of concentration.Student will become proficient in using the TI ¡V 83 (or TI ¡V 84) Plus Graphing Calculator
