Student-Centered Objectives of the Course• To familiarize students with the principles of microbiology, genetics, cell biology, biochemistry, and other areas that form the scientific basis of biotechnology;• To familiarize students with the applications of biotechnology in medicine, agriculture, and industry;• To familiarize students with the corporate and financial structure of the biotechnology industry, the legal and regulatory environment in which it operates, and the various careers in biotechnology
