Adelphi Theatre: Behind the Curtain

The featured production, Everybody by Brandon Jacobs-Jenkins, is a darkly comedic and thought-provoking modern adaptation of the 15th-century morality play Everyman. The play explores life, death, relationships, and what truly matters when we are faced with the unknown.

The experience begins with a pre-show discussion providing context about the production, its themes, and the role Adelphi students play both onstage and behind the scenes. Following the performance, students will participate in a post-show talkback with members of the production team, giving them the opportunity to ask questions and gain insight into the college theatre experience.

All faculty, chaperones and students must have the Adelphi University Camera Release Form signed by a parent or legal guardian. Students who do not have a signed photo release form will not be permitted to participate in the event. Please be sure to share this information with your students and their parents. We request you scan your signed forms and send them to us at infoevents@adelphi.edu prior to the event in order to expedite the check-in process. You may also collect the forms and bring them with you on the day of the event.
