"On Wall Street, anonymity is critically important." - Business professor Michael Driscoll

CNBC’s Squawk Box show discussed the privacy on Bloomberg’s Data Terminals. Professor Michael Driscoll M.B.A. ’89  is mentioned at the 5:02 mark, from 6:57 to 8:17, and from 10:12 to 10:57. the show aired on May 13, 2013.


The New York Times quoted Professor Driscoll on the Bloomberg privacy breach as well:

“On Wall Street, anonymity is critically important. Secrecy and the ability to cover one’s tracks is paramount,” said Michael J. Driscoll, a former senior trader at Bear Stearns who now teaches at Adelphi University. He added: “If Bloomberg reporters crossed that line, that’s an issue.”
