New York State’s Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) seeks to provide the State’s public elementary and secondary school students with a safe and supportive environment free from discrimination, intimidation, taunting, harassment, and bullying on school property, a school bus and/or at a school function.

Please Note: Currently, DASA workshops are only available for Adelphi Students or Alumni.

This training is designed to fulfill the harassment, bullying, and discrimination prevention and intervention training required for certification/licensure under the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA). The training is for six instructional hours.

Workshop Schedule and Modality

Typically, DASA training is offered in a hybrid mode. You would complete an online component first and then participate in a 4 hour in-person workshop. NYSED has approved DASA to be fully online as a result of the COVID pandemic. DASA will be fully online until further guidance from NYSED is released.

Students only need to attend one workshop to complete the training.

Cost and Registration

  • Cost for the workshop is $50
  • To register for the workshop, search for course 0801-697 on CLASS via eCampus (log in required).
