Transitioning Class Time to Asynchronous & Synchronous Activities
A workshop for faculty: Teaching online involves translating in-person teaching time with a mix of synchronous and asynchronous learning activities.
This workshop will help faculty consider their priorities for what teaching activities work best synchronously vs. asynchronously. It also looks at methods for estimating the time that is involved in instructional activities, ‘time on task’, so that students receive the appropriate level of instruction.
