Date & Time: April 17–18, 2023 8:30am – 5:00pm
Location: Lower Level of Hagedorn Hall

All members of the Adelphi community are welcome to bring old and unwanted electronic equipment—and drop them off for free, environmentally conscious recycling.

Adelphi students, faculty and staff can drop off unwanted electronics for recycling in the Lower Level of Hagedorn Hall starting Monday, April 17 into Tuesday, April 18 from 8:30am – 5:00pm.

This erecycling program is provided in partnership with the Environmental Action Coalition and the Office of Information Technology as part of Earth Month.

Help us eliminate used electronic products and/or components from our landfills. When e-waste is thrown away, it contaminates the waste stream. The heavy metals can leach into our soil and then into our underground water supply, causing severe and even life-threatening illnesses.

You can also drop off your technology and electronics on eCycle Day on April 19 between 10:00am and 12:00pm. Technology recycling company ITAMG will be on the Garden City campus with a recycling truck. This truck will be in the parking lot area directly in front of Hagedorn Hall.
