Across the country, communities are working to establish and sustain transformational aging-friendly initiatives.

These endeavors require public-private partnerships to address the myriad challenges and opportunities associated with aging, working, and caregiving. Indeed, Governor Kathy Hochul’s executive order to create a Master Plan for Aging recognizes this burgeoning need.

While recognizing that some efforts are underway, collaboration among key stakeholders is critical to addressing issues including service gaps, community dynamics, workforce needs, transportation and housing inefficiencies, funding sources, and policy change.

Goidel Law Group PLLC and Adelphi University School of Social Work are co-hosting a summit to explore and achieve an age-friendly Long Island. We are inviting the participation of leaders in government, non-profit organizations, senior service industries, and academia, in addition to older residents of Nassau and Suffolk counties.

This dynamic and interactive conference will include workshops, panel discussions, and presentations designed to inspire ideas for developing and implementing effective solutions!
