Date & Time: April 24 12:00pm – 2:00pm
Location: Ruth S. Harley University Center, Lobby

Millions of people worldwide observe Denim Day on the last Wednesday of every April as a visible way to highlight misconceptions surrounding sexual violence.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Join our campus community in taking a stand against victim-blaming and help to educate others about sexual assault. On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, all Adelphi students, faculty and staff are encouraged to wear denim.

Also, between 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m., stop by our Title IX Denim Day table in the University Center Lobby to learn more about sexual assault month and the meaning of Denim Day.

Public Safety Patch Project

Our Denim Day Patch sticker promotes awareness about sexual assault and demonstrates support for survivors of all forms of sexual violence.
