Personal Statement

Personal Statement

My first priority is helping students meet their interdisciplinary, academic goals. I also engage in research and writing related to interdisciplinary teaching, digital humanities, and social justice pedagogy. Recent articles include the co-authored work “Digital Humanities and the First Year: Teaching Reading, Writing and Research with Digital Critical Editions" that appeared in Transformations: The Journal of Inclusive Scholarship and Pedagogy and I have published short form pieces for The Journal of Interactive Technology and Pedagogy. In addition, I publish on feminist approaches to modernist literary studies and I am the incoming Book Review Editor for Feminist Modernist Studies. I am committed to diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility in higher education and I am a member of the College of Arts and Sciences Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council.
