Personal Statement
I believe that teaching is an art-an art worth pursuing and perfecting, because teachers can and do make a difference in their students' lives. By instruction and by example, a faculty member's charge is to promote critical thinking, intellectual analysis, constructive interaction, and expanded awareness. Our fulfilling reward is an avenue for passing on one's passion for knowledge and instilling a lifelong desire in our others to learn, achieve, and excel.
