Personal Statement

Personal Statement

My aims in teaching are to create an active learning environment, to foster critical thinking and evaluation of psychological theories and research, to help students learn how to apply psychological theories and research findings to solve problems, to help students understand the importance of ethics and values in social science research and to help students become more aware of how factors like race/ethnicity, gender and social class create different worldviews.
