Personal Statement

My teaching philosophy is to engage students in the subject matter in a practical and meaningful manner. Theories and concepts are the foundation and when coupled with examples of how they are utilized in real work situations, students can better understand and internalize them in practice. Encouraging students to actively participate in class discussions, exercises, case studies and research enhances their learning and allows them to apply it to their academic endeavors and future occupations.
