Diplomas/DegreesJ.D., Georgetown Law (2007) Recent CoursesFree Speech,Media Law And Democracy Personal StatementI view communication as a skill or a trade. The best way to learn it is by doing it. Consequently, my classes include a lot of hands-on assignments, such as writing newspaper stories for my Newswriting class and producing news videos and blogs for my Web Journalism class. I am also of the opinion that higher education should not merely be a vocational education but should also provide students with the tools to create a better world. To that end, I teach students the importance and value of team work, critical thinking and ethics.
