Artistic/Creative Work

"Autism Sings". Thousand Oaks filmmaker Keri Bowers and Joanne Lara of Autism Movement Therapy Inc. will present Autism Sings!, a musical performed by artists with autism to benefit children with special needs, from 7 to 10 p.m. Wed., May 5 at The Canyon club, 28912 Roadside Drive, Agoura Hills. The house band for the evening will be Jack Mack & the Heart Attack. The concert will also feature Stephen Shore, a savant pianist, author and one of the worlds leading keynote speakers on autism; Wyatt Isaacs, actor and singer who appeared in the Academy Award-winning HBO documentary Autism the Musical, and Kyle Cousins, singer and songwriter of Everybody Wants To Be Heard, the Autism Speaks theme song.
