Personal StatementMy teaching philosophy is quite simple: be the best educator possible so that the future of our nurses remains strong, professional and enlightened to the changes of the global society. As an educator it is my responsibility to prepare future nurses to manage and lead the complexities of our world. I feel that in demonstrating strong leadership skills along with a holistic approach to patient and family care both in the classroom and in the clinical arena, nursing students can model after leaders in the field. Thus they are able to expand their knowledge base and critical thinking to new heights. Nursing is not an easy discipline but it is the most rewarding one I know. It is an honor to be part of the education process as well as being a mentor to so many students. Thank you to all my students, past and present who have worked so hard and have helped me become a better teacher.
